Atlassian Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Atlassian Developer with hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and administering the Atlassian suite of products, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Bitbucket. The ideal candidate will have expertise in workflow automation, custom plugin development, scripting, integrations, and platform administration to support enterprise collaboration and software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and maintain Atlassian applications, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Bitbucket.

- Configure and customize workflows, screens, issue types, fields, permissions, notification schemes, and dashboards.

- Develop custom plugins, extensions, and integrations using Atlassian SDK and REST APIs.

- Automate business processes using ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, Groovy, and REST APIs.

- Integrate Atlassian tools with enterprise applications such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, LDAP/Active Directory, and third-party systems.

- Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and automation rules.

- Perform platform upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

- Ensure platform security, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.

- Provide technical support, documentation, and knowledge transfer to users and administrators.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience with Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Bitbucket.

- Hands-on experience with Atlassian Administration and configuration.

- Experience with ScriptRunner, Groovy scripting, and Automation for Jira.

- Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, custom fields, permission schemes, screen schemes, and issue security.

- Experience developing integrations using REST APIs and webhooks.

- Knowledge of Atlassian SDK and plugin/app development.

- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitHub Actions.

- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.

- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and ITSM processes.

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Atlassian Cloud and Data Center environments.

- Knowledge of Forge and Connect app development.

- Experience with Java, JavaScript, or Groovy for custom development.

- Familiarity with LDAP/Active Directory and SSO integrations.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Experience with infrastructure automation and DevOps Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
