Education Qualification: LLB

Ideal Experience range: 5-7 years

Required Skill Set:

• Ability to research Indirect Tax / GST databases.
• Knowledge of case laws with the relevant legal framework, a good understanding of regulatory updates and a basic understanding of its impact on the assigned clients.
• Good command of English and drafting skills (most critical).
• Drafting Writ Petitions, Appeals, replies to SCN etc.
• Ability to create and disseminate updates on the latest trends to the team.
• Ability to do quick research to develop a theoretical understanding of the laws and acts.

Major role and responsibilities :

• Represent before judicial/quasi judicial authorities
• The incumbent will handle engagements related to Indirect Tax Laws: including Tax Restructuring, Tax Advisory and consulting, appeals pertaining to Foreign Trade Policy, Customs Law and GST Legislation.
• Assignments will also include litigation-related services: drafting replies, appeals, briefing counsels and senior counsels.
