Director of Product Ownership

Were looking for an experienced Lead Product Owner to lead coach and line manage a team of Product Owners.

This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on AI adoption. Youll champion the use of AI tools across the Product Owner community contribute to building AI-enabled workflows and act as a role model for how AI can be embedded into day-to-day product ownership from requirements and prototyping through to prioritisation and delivery.

What were looking for:

• 7 years of product ownership experience in software/technology environments
• Proven line management experience or significant coaching/mentoring of other product professionals
• Demonstrable experience using and building AI tools to improve delivery this is essential
• Confidence working with technical teams and complex technical products
• Strong command of Agile practices at scale (SAFe LeSS Scrum Kanban)
• You will be reporting to a Senior Manager

Youll be expected to:

• Lead and develop a team of Product Owners across agile teams
• Drive AI adoption across the Product Owner community and establish best practices
• Contribute to building AI tools that improve product ownership workflows
• Set the standard for backlog ownership prioritisation and quality

Qualifications :

• AI - Demonstrable experience using and building AI tools to improve delivery
• 7 years of product ownership experience in software/technology environments
• Proven line management experience or significant coaching/mentoring of other product professionals
• Degree in Computer Science Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• AI/ML literacy certification or equivalent practical experience
