Test Lead - Life Insurance

Job Description

• Domain Knowledge: Good domain knowledge of the life Insurance life cycle, products & Processes
• Lead Testing Activities: Lead a team of testers in planning, executing, and managing testing activities for life insurance systems and applications.
• Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on business requirements, functional specifications, and industry best practices.
• Requirement Analysis: Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to identify test scenarios and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Test Case Design: Design and develop detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data sets tailored to life insurance business processes and workflows.
• Test Execution: Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of life insurance applications.
• Defect Management: Track, prioritize, and manage defects using defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Documentation: Create and maintain testing-related documentation including test plans, test reports, and other testing artifacts.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities, communicating risks and mitigation strategies to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of proven software testing and quality assurance experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB are a plus.
