Job Description -
1. An Oracle PL/SQL Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining Oracle database applications using the PL/SQL programming language.
2. Developing and maintaining Oracle database applications using PL/SQL.
3. Designing and developing database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/SQL.
4. Optimizing database performance by tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
5. Developing and executing test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of PL/SQL code.
6. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to PL/SQL code.
7. Convert user stories into application logic; reports, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Fixes and develops changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.
2. Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end user service requests as assigned.
3. Participates in Backlog grooming, sprint planning and Daily stand-up meetings.
4. Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications.
5. Prepares technical documentation on application specifications
6. Debugs applications and ensures specifications are met before integrating new modules and upgrades into the online production database system.
7. Adheres to coding standards and other standard work as laid out for applications development.
8. Responds promptly to customer needs; takes a customer-centric approach to problem solving; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments; manages customer expectations.
