Audit Senior

Position Summary

As an Audit Senior you will oversee daily audit operations for clients worldwide. You will work closely with onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-quality results. You will use your knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, UK GAAP, IFRS, audit methods, and tools. You will plan, execute, and report on engagements effectively.

As an Auditor, you will oversee daily audit operations. You will work with the team to solve accounting, auditing, and other issues. You will use audit tools and technology. This role requires involvement in all audit stages: planning, execution, and reporting.

Work You'll Do

* Plan and execute assigned tasks within project scope and deadlines.

* Monitor engagement progress and identify best practices on engagements.

* Work with the team on Deloitte Audit methodologies and tools to perform tasks within project scope.

* Develop an understanding of Deloitte Quality and Risk Management procedures, and ensure these are embedded into the engagement team’s work.

* Actively engage with assurance teams to manage workflow and allocate resources. Monitor performance against established standards.

* Oversee team utilization and track budget versus actuals. Address other key operational matters.

* Standardize review processes and apply best practices across assigned engagements and, where applicable, more broadly.

The Team

The team will participate in all audit phases, while the professional will supervise and guide junior staff throughout each stage.

Required Qualifications

* Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI)

* 2+ years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit.

Preferred Qualifications

· Prior experience in auditing with exposure to US clients or understanding of US GAAP/GAAS/IFRS preferred.
