Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO / Board of Directors

Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy planning risk management compliance and overall financial health of the organization. The CFO will work closely with senior leadership to drive business growth optimize financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement the companys financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead annual budgeting forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board on financial performance and growth opportunities.
• Analyze market trends and identify financial risks and opportunities.

Financial Management

• Oversee accounting operations financial reporting and cash flow management.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Monitor financial performance and establish corrective measures where required.
• Manage working capital investments and banking relationships.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with statutory laws tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Develop internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain corporate governance standards and financial transparency.

Business & Operational Support

• Partner with department heads to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Evaluate investment opportunities mergers acquisitions and expansion plans.
• Drive automation and process improvements within the finance function.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead mentor and develop the finance and accounts team.
• Build a high-performance finance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations HR procurement and sales teams.

Required Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) CPA CFA MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
• 0710 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning accounting taxation compliance and corporate finance.
• Experience in strategic planning and business partnering.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial management software.
