Assitant Professs Law

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate law curricula in accordance with university guidelines.
• Conduct lectures, seminars, workshops, and tutorials that encourage critical thinking and legal analysis.
• Guide and supervise student research projects, dissertations, and moot court participation.
• Engage in scholarly research, publish articles and papers in reputable law journals, and present findings at academic conferences.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and accreditation activities.
• Contribute to community outreach programs, legal aid clinics, and professional development initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legal developments, statutes, and case law relevant to the courses taught.

Essential Qualifications

• B.B.A. LL.B. (Integrated Law Degree)
• LL.M. from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks (as per UGC norms).
• UGC NET (Law) qualification is mandatory.
• Candidates with a Ph.D. in Law, as per UGC Regulations, will be preferred where applicable.

Desired Experience

• Minimum of 1–5 years of teaching experience at the college or university level.
  
• Freshers with UGC NET qualification may apply.
• Prior teaching, research, or industry experience in the legal field will be an added advantage.
• Evidence of research publications in national or international law journals.
• Experience in curriculum design, academic assessment, and student evaluation.
• Active participation in legal seminars, workshops, or professional bodies is a plus.

Location Preference

• Preference will be given to candidates from Jabalpur or other locations within Madhya Pradesh.
