Engineer Tools - Plant 16

Role

• Designing and Developing Tools and Equipment : You will be responsible for designing new tools and equipment to improve efficiency, productivity, and safety in our manufacturing processes. This will involve understanding the specific requirements of each manufacturing operation and creating innovative solutions to meet those needs.
• Continuous Improvement : You will be expected to continually evaluate the performance of existing tools and equipment and identify opportunities for improvement. This may involve conducting root cause analysis, implementing new technology, or re-engineering existing tools to enhance their capabilities.
• Maintenance and Repair : You will be responsible for ensuring that all tools and equipment in Plant 16 are properly maintained and functioning optimally. This will involve creating and implementing maintenance schedules, performing regular inspections, and coordinating repairs as necessary.
• Collaboration : You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure that tools and equipment meet the needs of the manufacturing process and adhere to strict quality standards. Effective communication and collaboration with these teams will be essential to your success in this role.
• Compliance and Safety : You will be responsible for ensuring that all tools and equipment in Plant 16 comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. This will involve staying current on industry best practices, participating in safety audits, and leading efforts to enhance workplace safety.
• Training and Support : You will provide training and support to production and maintenance teams on the proper use and care of tools and equipment. This will help ensure that all employees understand how to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
