About the Role:
We are looking for a Front End Developer to build and Lead frontend feature development and architectural decisions. Design scalable solutions, optimize performance, and mentor junior engineers. You will play a key role in designing unique experiences for the end users.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3–6 years of production experience with React and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns and state management
- Experience designing and building scalable, reusable component-based applications
- Strong knowledge of web performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and frontend build tooling
- Solid understanding of databases (MSSQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL) and query optimization
- Proven ability to lead features and collaborate cross-functionally
- Exposure to backend API architecture and willing to use AI assisted tools to build backend
Key Responsibilities
- Lead feature development from design to deployment, develop components required to scale
- Make architectural decisions for frontend applications
- Optimize Core Web Vitals and frontend performance at scale
- Drive adoption of best practices across the frontend codebase
- Maintain high standards of code quality, unit testing, and documentation
- Use product thinking mindset with to solve business and tech problems
- Monitor systems, debug production issues, and ensure uptime of critical services
- Work closely with product, frontend, & data teams to deliver seamless user experiences
- Proven ownership of features from design to deployment
- Identify and address technical debt while maintaining a healthy codebase
- Mentor junior engineers and drive code quality standards
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code to accelerate development workflows
Good to Have
- Experience in fintech / wealth management / mutual funds domain
- Experience with Next.js App Router and server components
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- Track record of mentoring or leading small teams
- Understanding of compliance, KYC, and regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, ELK)
