Lead Accountant

IT By Design is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Lead Accountant to own and manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations for our India entity. This is a high-impact role with a defined growth path toward a Global Finance Lead position supporting operations across India, the US, and the Philippines. Key Responsibilities • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes • Manage financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliations, and audits • Oversee payroll, statutory compliance, and tax filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.) • Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, treasury, and cash flow forecasting • Prepare management reports, financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and stronger financial controls • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to support business growth and decision-making What We're Looking Fo r • 8–12+ years of progressive Accounting & Finance experience • Strong expertise in financial reporting, month-end close, payroll, AR/AP, treasury, and compliance • Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits, and statutory filings • Advanced Excel skills and strong accounting fundamentals • QuickBooks experience preferred • Experience in a services, technology, or fast-paced business environment preferred • Exposure to Power BI, ERP systems, finance automation, or AI tools is a plus Why Join IT By Design? • Opportunity to lead and transform finance operations in India • Clear path to a Global Finance Lead role within 12–24 months based on performance • Exposure to international finance operations and global leadership • Fast-paced, growth-oriented environment focused on innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement About IT By Design IT By Design is a New Jersey-based global Managed Services Provider with teams across the US, India, and the Philippines.
