Location: Nalanda Vidyaniketan School Position: Business Studies Teacher Reports to: Principal Job Overview: Nalanda Vidyaniketan School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire and educate students in the field of Business Studies, following the CBSE curriculum . The role involves developing lesson plans, delivering engaging lectures, and evaluating student progress while fostering an environment conducive to learning. The teacher will ensure students are well-prepared for board exams and real-world business challenges. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality instruction in Business Studies in line with the CBSE curriculum for secondary school students. Develop and implement lesson plans that adhere to the CBSE standards and guidelines. Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive and practical business scenarios. Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and exams, ensuring alignment with the CBSE examination format. Prepare students for CBSE board exams , ensuring a thorough understanding of business concepts and application. Provide academic support and counseling to students where necessary. Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall learning experience and integrate the CBSE curriculum effectively. Organize extracurricular activities, seminars, or workshops that complement classroom teaching and align with the CBSE objectives. Stay updated with the latest developments in the CBSE curriculum and integrate relevant changes into teaching practices. Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions as required. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Studies, Commerce, Economics, or a related field. Teaching certification and experience in Business Studies, preferably in a CBSE school. Strong understanding of the CBSE Business Studies syllabus and examination patterns. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Passionate about teaching and mentoring students. Ability to engage students and create a dynamic learning environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience in a similar role at a reputed institution. Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technology integration in classrooms. Ability to organize business-related extracurricular activities or clubs. Salary: Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
