Assistant Engineer Melting

• Position Overview The Process Engineer (Melting) is responsible for driving process efficiency, maintaining strict quality standards, and leading troubleshooting efforts on the production floor. This role focuses on continuous improvement, data-driven problem solving, and the seamless introduction of new processes and development items.
• Responsibilities & Activities Quality Management: Maintain comprehensive quality data, analyze periodic quality trends, and initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for major contributing defects. Defect Control: Monitor daily rejection and rework rates, conducting thorough reviews to minimize waste. Troubleshooting: Address and resolve technical issues on regular production items in real time. Data-Driven Improvement: Cultivate a continuous learning environment utilizing a data-based analytical approach to optimize processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Attend and actively contribute to daily rejection reviews and process meetings. Technical Reporting: Prepare and present data for weekly technical meetings. Project Tracking: Track and execute identified projects in a timely manner to systematically reduce rejection rates. Resource Readiness: Ensure all process inputs, materials, and documentation are ready for production. Shop Floor Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication across the shop floor to align team objectives. Project Management: Report on project progress, define clear next steps, and escalate matters requiring management decisions or actions. System Optimization: Drive continuous system improvements based on the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodology.
