Job Summary

This Role is for site lead (Gajraula) for Design, Technology & Technical services for safety, environment, infra projects and process engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. CAPEX estimation for projects related to Business, BE, safety, Environment and infra.
2. Basic and Detail engineering documentation – H&M balance, PFD, P&ID, Layout, GAD etc.
3. Process Safety studies / PHA – Hazop, Job risk assessment, HIRA etc.
4. Process & Equipment Design – Distillation column, Plug flow reactors, FBR, Extraction columns.
5. Site Zero liquid discharge, Effluent reduction, water saving initiatives.
6. Process document control and updation - P&ID , PFD, H&M balance.
7. Site lead for technical change control approval, review and approve technical changes.
8. Support Plant team in process troubleshooting and problem solving through process engineering and design solutions.
9. Process engineering calculations – Piping hydraulic, heat transfer area , safety valve design & selection, control valve sizing and selection, pump selection and head calculation.
10. Basic knowledge and hands on experience in process simulation software – Aspen plus/Hysys.
11. Continuous process new product development and technology transfer support.

The Person

• Educational Background & Experience

B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with 13-15 years of experience. Preferably 2-3 years of initial experience in production.
