About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ, identity lifecycle management, access governance, application onboarding, and IAM integrations across enterprise systems. This role requires close collaboration with security, infrastructure, HR, and application teams to strengthen identity governance, automate provisioning, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve access security across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, configure, and implement SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions for enterprise identity governance.
- Manage complete Identity Lifecycle Management (Joiner, Mover, Leaver) processes through automated workflows.
- Configure and maintain provisioning and de-provisioning workflows across enterprise applications.
- Develop and customize SailPoint workflows, forms, rules, policies, reports, and certification campaigns.
- Build and maintain application connectors for Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, databases, and cloud applications.
- Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models and business role frameworks.
- Configure access request workflows, approval processes, and segregation of duties (SoD) policies.
- Design and execute periodic access certification campaigns for users, privileged accounts, and applications.
- Develop custom integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, JDBC, and flat-file connectors.
- Create and customize BeanShell rules, Java-based plugins, and SailPoint workflows to support business requirements.
- Troubleshoot identity synchronization, provisioning failures, connector issues, and workflow errors.
- Monitor SailPoint platform performance and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability.
- Perform application onboarding and integrate new enterprise applications into the IdentityIQ platform.
- Collaborate with HR, IT Operations, Security, and Application Owners for identity governance initiatives.
- Participate in IAM architecture discussions and contribute to identity governance strategy.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and IAM best practices.
- Support internal and external security audits by providing required IAM evidence and reports.
- Maintain documentation for IAM architecture, workflows, connectors, provisioning logic, and operational procedures.
- Mentor junior IAM engineers and provide technical guidance during implementation and production support.
Required Skills :
- Strong experience implementing and supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ).
- Deep understanding of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) concepts.
- Expertise in Identity Lifecycle Management (Joiner, Mover, Leaver).
- Strong experience in Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) implementation.
- Hands-on experience configuring access certification and access review campaigns.
- Experience integrating Active Directory, LDAP, Azure Active Directory, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, and other enterprise application connectors.
- Strong knowledge of SailPoint provisioning engine and connector framework.
- Expertise in BeanShell scripting and Java customization.
- Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JDBC, and XML.
- Strong SQL knowledge for reporting and troubleshooting.
- Experience with workflow development and approval processes.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments.
- Knowledge of authentication protocols including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
- Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts is an advantage.
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Familiarity with ITSM platforms and ticketing workflows.
- Exposure to IAM migration or modernization projects.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries such as Banking, Healthcare, Insurance, or Financial Services.
- SailPoint IdentityIQ certification or other IAM certifications will be an added advantage.
