Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python, ETL Pipeline Development, DBT, and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and supporting data warehousing and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines.

- Build and optimize data transformation workflows using DBT (Data Build Tool).

- Develop robust data processing solutions using Python.

- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting.

- Integrate data from multiple sources into data warehouses and analytics platforms.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across data pipelines.

- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, pipeline failures, and performance issues.

- Collaborate with Data Analysts, BI Developers, and Business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Implement best practices for data modeling, testing, documentation, and deployment.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in Python for data engineering and automation.

- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Proficiency in DBT (Data Build Tool).

- Strong expertise in SQL and database concepts.

- Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.

- Good understanding of data modeling concepts and performance tuning.

- Experience with version control tools like Git.
