Job Title : Firmware QA

Years of Experience : 3 to 5

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for embedded systems to ensure full functional coverage and system stability.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python or C to streamline regression testing and reduce manual effort.

- Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing to validate system behavior under various environmental and operational conditions.

- Collaborate with firmware and hardware engineers to perform root cause analysis on identified defects and verify effective resolutions.

- Manage bug tracking and reporting workflows to provide stakeholders with clear visibility into product quality and release readiness.

- Optimize test environments and infrastructure to improve testing efficiency and shorten the feedback loop in the development lifecycle.

Must Have Skills :

- Firmware Validation, Embedded Systems Validation, or IoT Product Testing; experience with IoT systems, Python automation, HIL testing, Agile teams, and cross-functional collaboration.

- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, stakeholder management, and ability to work independently.

Nice To Have :

- Azure IoT/AWS IoT exposure, Linux embedded systems, cybersecurity validation, protocol analyzers, industrial/building automation domain knowledge.

Duration : 12 Months

Education :

- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, E&TC, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
