Zuora Developer - Revenue & Billing

Role Overview:

As a Zuora Developer at our Hyderabad office, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex subscription billing and revenue recognition workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, financial analysts, and Salesforce administrators, to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution. Your work will directly impact the accuracy of financial reporting and the efficiency of the customer billing lifecycle for our enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and customize Zuora Billing and Revenue modules to align with specific client financial processes and subscription models.

- Develop and maintain integrations between Zuora and Salesforce to ensure seamless data synchronization across the lead-to-cash lifecycle.

- Build and optimize RESTful web services to facilitate real-time data exchange between internal platforms and external financial systems.

- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate financial data for reporting and reconciliation purposes.

- Automate routine billing tasks and data processing workflows using Python or Java to improve operational efficiency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Zuora ecosystem to minimize downtime and ensure accurate revenue recognition.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated proficiency in configuring Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue to support diverse subscription pricing and billing cycles.

- Strong technical background in developing integrations using RESTful web services and handling JSON data structures.

- Ability to write efficient, clean code in Java or Python to support custom automation and system extensions.

- Advanced SQL skills for database management, data extraction, and complex reporting requirements.

- Proven experience integrating Zuora with Salesforce, including a deep understanding of the data mapping and object relationships between the two platforms.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial requirements into technical specifications for stakeholders.

- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated Zuora development or implementation role.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, office-based environment in Hyderabad.
