Guidewire Digital Portal Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services for Guidewire Digital Portal solutions.

- Build, document, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs for Guidewire Digital products.

- Develop integrations between PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and third-party applications.

- Customize and extend Guidewire Edge APIs to meet business and customer requirements.

- Ensure high performance, scalability, reliability, and security of backend services.

- Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize API performance.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end digital solutions.

- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for APIs.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.

- Follow Agile development methodologies and software engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5-10 years of experience in backend application development.

- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Digital Portal or Guidewire Edge/API.

- Strong experience with :

1. Guidewire PolicyCenter

2. Guidewire BillingCenter

3. Guidewire ClaimCenter

- Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

- Experience integrating Guidewire applications with third-party systems.

- Strong knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization.

- Good understanding of backend architecture, microservices, and integration patterns.

- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, or similar backend technologies is preferred.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform.

- Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, API Gateway, and API management tools.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.

- Guidewire certifications are an added advantage.
