Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating/Configuration Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Rating configurations in Guidewire PolicyCenter.

- Configure and customize :

1. Rate Books

2. Rate Tables

3. Rate Routines

4. Rating Worksheets

- Develop and enhance business functionality using Gosu.

- Configure and maintain the Product Model, entities, and business rules.

- Implement Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) best practices for development and deployment.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality insurance solutions.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, and production support activities.

- Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

- Support cloud deployments, upgrades, and configuration management.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.

- Strong expertise in PolicyCenter Rating.

- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).

- Strong experience in :

1. Rating Configuration

2. Rate Books

3. Rate Tables

4. Rate Routine Development

5. Rating Worksheets

- Strong programming experience in Gosu.

- Experience with :

1. Product Model

2. Entity Configuration

3. Business Rules

- Good understanding of Guidewire Cloud architecture, development standards, and deployment processes.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Guidewire Integration Framework and REST/SOAP APIs.

- Exposure to Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations and cloud migrations.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.

- Guidewire certifications are an added advantage.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
