Assistant Manager - Process Excellence (Manufacturing)

Job Role:

Experienced professional with strong expertise in TPM & Lean Systems across FMCG & Process Industries. This role is for a Manufacturing Excellence person responsible for driving Lean transformation, continuous improvement, and strategic execution across multiple manufacturing units. The position requires a seasoned change agent with good expertise in TPM, Lean systems, Six Sigma and cross-functional leadership. As a key driver of operational performance, this role will lead the deployment of Excellence strategies, standardize CI tools and templates, and oversee high-impact initiatives in QCD by low-cost automations, Innovative Kaizen Mindset, and debottlenecking

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Drive TPM 8 Pillars & TPM Coordinator for the Plant as cultural transformation.
• Drive Smart Manufacturing Strategy & initiatives across Plants
• Road Map Preparation, Gap analysis & Strategy for improvement
• Line Balancing & Capacity Planning
• Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S & Continuous Improvement
• Lean Tools exposure like VSM, SMED, Kanban & 7QC tools
• Digitalization & Low cost automation
• Process Optimization & Operational Excellence
• Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving
• Production Planning & Workflow Optimization
• Plant Layout & Material Flow Improvement
• Conduct TPM SCM Reviews, MIS & KPI Reporting & OEE Analysis
• Training to team on TPM & Lean Systems
• Budget Planning & CAPEX Execution
• ESG & Sustainability Initiatives
• Cross Functional Coordination & Team Management

Educational Qualifications:

Graduation or Masters degree in Mechanical / Electrical or related field. Certification in Lean Systems & Six Sigma will be preferred.

Industry & Experience:

7+ years of experience in Consumer Goods or a similar process industry.
