Senior Project Manager

Job Tile: Senior Project Manager - Delivery Location: Pune Job Summary The Senior Manager – Delivery (AV Domain) will oversee large-scale operations delivering high-quality ground truth data for Autonomous Vehicle (AV) machine learning models. This role requires a seasoned delivery leader who combines rigorous project management methodologies with exceptional, client-facing communication skills to manage high-volume workflows, data triage operations, or HD mapping projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operational excellence, scaling multi-location headcount, managing client engineering relationships, and driving financial and throughput metrics across delivery hubs. Responsibilities - Apply robust project management methodologies to successfully plan, execute, monitor, and deliver large-scale data annotation project lifecycles. - Own end-to-end delivery performance, ensuring production workflows meet or exceed strict accuracy, throughput, and SLA targets. - Manage complex AV data workflows across domains such as LiDAR, Multi-Sensor Fusion, Data Triage, or HD Mapping. - Establish strict quality governance by leveraging deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify error drivers and design targeted quality improvement plans. - Act as the primary operational escalation point of contact, maintaining exceptional verbal and written communication with external client AV engineering and product teams. - Manage project budgets, tracking resource billing rates, utilization targets, and productivity metrics to drive monthly revenue milestones and prevent revenue leakage. - Partner effectively with internal cross-functional teams (HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal) to manage large-scale headcount capacity planning and ramp-ups. - Mentor, upskill, and manage a multi-tiered leadership hierarchy (Group Leads and Team Leads) while driving objective performance appraisals and calibrations. Skill Requirements - 12–14 years of total experience in Operations/Service Delivery, with a proven track record in the ITeS, BPO, or Technology sectors. - Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on management experience specifically within the Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Data Annotation & Labeling space. - Must possess strong operational management experience in any of the following key domains: - LiDAR / Multi-Sensor Fusion - AV Triage - Mapping / GIS - Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. - Flawless English communication skills (written and spoken) navigating high-visibility, direct client-facing relationships. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or Operations Management (MBA or any equivalent is a plus).
