Role Overview

Policybazaar is seeking an experienced and dynamic Area / Territory Manager to lead and drive field sales operations in Thrissur. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in insurance sales, proven leadership experience in managing field sales teams, and the ability to consistently deliver business growth through effective team management and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Field Sales Executives to achieve business objectives.
• Drive sales performance by ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds assigned targets.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions, training programs, and performance reviews to enhance team productivity.
• Oversee day-to-day field sales operations and ensure the effective implementation of sales strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners to drive long-term business growth.
• Monitor sales performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, operational processes, and regulatory guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience in Insurance Sales.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading and managing field sales teams.
• Proficiency in Malayalam (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of the local market and customer landscape.
• Willingness to work in a target-driven, field-based sales environment.
