Senior Manager / AVP Investor Relations

Job Description: The candidate will be responsible for handling client relations and running the investor relations and communication activities for a portfolio of listed clients. This includes managing the quarterly results cycle, developing strategic communication plans, driving investor outreach, media-related activities and managing relationships with key stakeholders, including promoters, CFOs, investors, analysts and Kirin PR team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets, financial statements & ratios, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively articulate each client's strategy, financial performance, and value proposition.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary relationship owner and IR advisor for a portfolio of listed clients, engaging directly with promoters, MDs, CFOs, and company secretarial teams. • Develop and execute comprehensive investor relations and communication strategies aligned with each client's business goals and equity story.

• Independently run the quarterly results cycle for clients — press releases, investor presentations, earnings call scripts, Q&A preparation, and post-call transcripts

• Plan and execute investor events, including earnings calls, investor days, non-deal roadshows, and conferences, ensuring effective client representation.

• Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, AIFs, PMS funds, family offices, and analysts to enhance client visibility and credibility in the market.

• Craft clear, concise, and compelling narratives for clients' financial results, presentations, press releases, and other investor communications.

• Coordinate closely with Kirin Advisors' in-house PR team on media outreach, press releases, and publicity plans for clients, ensuring IR and PR messaging remain consistent.

• Monitor market trends, peer valuations, shareholding patterns, and investor sentiment to provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients.

• Ensure all investor-facing materials are accurate, consistent with exchange filings, and compliant with SEBI LODR disclosure norms.

• Manage client expectations, timelines, and escalations; identify opportunities to deepen and expand mandates.

• Guide, mentor, and review the work of analysts and associates supporting the mandates, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• MBA in Finance (CFA/CA preferred) with 6–10 years in investor relations, financial communications, equity research, or capital markets advisory — ideally within an agency setting.

• Strong command of Indian capital markets and corporate governance (BSE/NSE listing norms, SEBI LODR, and the institutional investor ecosystem), with the ability to interpret financial statements, valuation multiples, and market trends.

• Proven ability to independently run the quarterly results cycle for listed companies and to manage relationships with clients, institutional investors, and analysts.

• Polished, client-facing presence with strong strategic-thinking and problemsolving skills.

• Able to perform under pressure and juggle multiple client priorities against tight deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced PowerPoint and Excel) and investor relations platforms.
