Partnerships & Communications Manager

Job Description

The Art X Company is hiring for the a Partnerships & Communications Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strategic partnerships and managing all external communications for The Brij in New Delhi. This role sits at the intersection of relationship-building, storytelling, visibility, and brand stewardship, ensuring the organisation’s programmes, collaborators, and values are effectively represented across platforms and stakeholders. The role requires a professional who is equally comfortable developing partnerships, working with PR agencies, and leading communication strategy within a creative and cultural environment.

1. The vetting process for this role comprises 2-3 rounds of interviews and may be followed by a brief assignment.

3. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Delhi.
   
4. Salary band for this role is available upon request.
   

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Arts Management, Humanities, Marketing, Cultural Studies, or a related field.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace for editorial documentation, presentations, reporting, trackers, media lists, and project coordination.
  

Essential Experience:

• 7–10 years of experience in partnerships, communications, PR, or strategic relations.
  
• Prior experience in arts, culture, creative industries, hospitality, festivals, or mission‐driven organisations strongly preferred.
  
• Demonstrated experience managing institutional partnerships and public-facing communication simultaneously.
  
• Proven experience managing external PR agencies, coordinating workflows, and supporting effective communication across stakeholders.
  
• Familiarity with PR, media monitoring, CRM, email marketing, project management, and CMS platforms such as Cision, Meltwater, Muck Rack, Mailchimp, Zoho, HubSpot, WordPress, Asana, Trello, or equivalent tools.
  
• Ability to interpret analytics, engagement metrics, and media coverage reports to track performance and support communication strategies.

Essential Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media and Communication, Marketing or related fields Excellent writing and communication skills Familiarity with managing a communications calendar, and using advertising platforms, social media marketing tools and mass mailing software like Mailchimp, Hootsuite and Canva is ideal Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello and Slack is a plus Knowledge of Wordpress, Wix is ideal Essential Experience: 2-3 years experience working in a content marketing or communications role Experience in content writing and managing a communications calendar is a plus Prior experience in working for a structured company or organisation, preferably in the arts and culture sector Key Personal Attributes & Skills: Good communicator, can work with a diverse range of people and personalities Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Ability to manage diverse internal/external stakeholders and coordinate delivery Ability to produce clear, coherent creative briefs, project reports, and coordinate multiple projects Strong attention to detail and good observation skills
