Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Salary Range: 6.5 – 7.0 LPA

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation to oversee the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical and instrumentation systems at our plant. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Systems

• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of electrical equipment, including LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, motors, MCCs, PCCs, and VFDs.
• Monitor electrical system performance and implement preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure minimum downtime.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for electrical maintenance and project activities.
  

Instrumentation Systems

• Maintain and calibrate field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
• Monitor and maintain PLC, SCADA, HMI, and control systems.
• Diagnose and rectify instrumentation and control system issues.
• Ensure proper documentation of calibration records, maintenance logs, and system modifications.
  

Team Management & Reporting

• Supervise technicians and maintenance staff for daily operational activities.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Support plant audits and compliance inspections.
  

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to company safety policies and industry standards.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
• Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous improvement.
  

Desired Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and industrial instrumentation.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, VFDs, MCCs, and automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control logic diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance reporting.
