Azure Data Engineer

Role : Data Engineer

Required Technical Skill Set : Python, Azure Data Functions, Data Bricks

Desired Experience Range : 8+ Years

Location of Requirement : Bangalore/Pune

Desired Competencies :

- Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role

- Must have experience with MS Azure services such as Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Databricks, HDInsight, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Functions, Pyspark, Python

- Knowledge of programming languages and environments such as Python, Java, Scala, R

- Hands-on experience with SQL database design

- Great numerical and analytical skills

- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field; a Masters is a plus

- Understanding of ETL

Good-to-Have :

- Azure certification

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :

- Analyze and organize raw data

- Build data systems and pipelines

- Evaluate business needs and objectives, Interpret trends and patterns

- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results

- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling

- Build algorithms and prototypes

- Combine raw information from different sources, build data pipelines

- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
