ServiceNow Developer

Role Overview :

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be at the forefront of designing and deploying enterprise-grade solutions that optimize IT service management and operational workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and project stakeholders, to translate complex requirements into scalable technical architectures. Your contributions will directly influence the efficiency of internal business processes and the quality of service delivery for our global client base, ensuring that the ServiceNow platform remains a robust engine for organizational productivity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement end-to-end ServiceNow solutions, focusing on ITSM modules to enhance service delivery and operational transparency.

- Develop custom applications and business logic using JavaScript and Glide API to meet unique client requirements and automate manual workflows.

- Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces using the Service Portal Framework to improve the end-user experience and platform adoption.

- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party enterprise systems using REST APIs to ensure seamless data flow and process synchronization across the technology stack.

- Collaborate within an Agile and Scrum environment to manage development sprints, participate in code reviews, and ensure high-quality, bug-free deployments.

- Optimize database queries and platform performance by leveraging SQL knowledge to ensure the system remains responsive under high transaction volumes.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow implementation, with a deep understanding of ITSM best practices and platform configuration.

- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable JavaScript and utilizing Glide API for server-side and client-side scripting.

- Ability to build and maintain complex Service Portal widgets and UI components that align with modern web standards.

- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot integration issues involving REST APIs and complex data structures.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a collaborative team setting.

- Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks, with a track record of delivering projects within defined timelines.

- Candidates must possess 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the ServiceNow ecosystem.

- Flexibility to work from our offices in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, or Pune as required by the project delivery model.
