• 7 years of Quality Assurance experience including team leadership responsibilities.

• Advanced SQL proficiency with experience writing complex queries for data validation and testing.

• Strong experience testing custom applications data pipelines and business logic.

• Solid understanding of test planning test case design defect management and QA methodologies.

Domain Experience:

• Experience working with Healthcare Data including healthcare datasets reporting or analytics platforms.

• Understanding of healthcare business processes data structures and quality considerations.

• Ability to create meaningful test scenarios that validate complex healthcare-related workflows and business logic.

• Leadership Skills

• Proven experience leading mentoring and developing QA team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to lead a small team of QA engineers and drive quality assurance initiatives across data-intensive healthcare applications. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise leadership capabilities and healthcare domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will be hands-on capable of managing testing activities within agile sprints mentoring junior team members and ensuring high-quality delivery of complex business-critical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor a team of 2 junior-to-mid-level QA engineers.

• Drive QA planning execution and delivery within Agile/Scrum sprints.

• Prioritize testing activities and manage day-to-day QA operations.

• Respond effectively to urgent business requests and shifting priorities.

• Foster collaboration across Engineering Product and Business teams.

• Establish and improve QA processes standards and best practices.

Quality Assurance & Testing:

• Design develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and test cases.

• Validate complex business logic and data transformations.

• Identify quality risks proactively and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Review test coverage and ensure high standards of accuracy and completeness.

• Support both functional and data validation testing efforts.

Data & Technical Validation

• Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data flows transformations and business rules.

• Perform end-to-end testing of custom-built solutions and integrations.

• Analyze healthcare datasets to ensure data quality and business rule compliance.

• Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and validate expected outcomes.

AI and Testing Perspective
