Overall Purpose of the Job

Work within Engineering team to produce and if appropriate lead projects to ensure that the required technical documentation to fulfil the requirements of the specific projects being worked is achieved in a timely manner and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Produce Engineering documentation including drawings BOMS layouts schematics as directed.
• Enter Engineering documents in to PDM system and configure.
• Be competent in uploading information to Engineering data bases and proficient in the use of technical software packages.
• Actively be involved and take a lead role in Engineering meetings and reviews as required.
• Actively review processes and working practices highlighting improvements.
• Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all questions and queries are resolved and liaise with Supervisor / Team Leader / Manager on any issues or concerns.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

• Hold a technical qualification
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Solidworks and Advitium
• 5 years previous work experience within a Design environment preferably in a related industry
• Team Leader / Supervisory skills
