Summary:

The Senior Technical Program Manager drives large-scale cross-functional technical initiatives that are critical to Tekions business and product strategy. This role is responsible for end-to-end program leadership ensuring alignment across engineering product and operational teams while delivering complex programs on time and within scope. The ideal candidate is a seasoned program leader with strong technical depth stakeholder management experience and a track record of delivering in high-growth environments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead the execution of high-impact technical programs involving multiple teams systems and stakeholders
Partner with Product Engineering Infrastructure Security and other functions to define scope success metrics and delivery plans
Identify and proactively manage program risks dependencies and trade-offs; escalate as needed to unblock progress
Establish clear operating cadences including status reporting stakeholder communication and executive updates
Drive clarity and accountability across workstreams ensuring alignment with company goals and product milestones
Mentor junior TPMs and contribute to developing best practices templates and tools for the TPM function
Influence strategic planning and roadmapping with a program-centric execution lens

Job Complexity:

Manages technically and operationally complex programs with significant business impact and multiple dependencies

Required Supervision:

Operates with minimal supervision; expected to drive cross-functional programs independently and make strategic execution decisions

Expertise:

Recognized expert in technical program delivery; demonstrates leadership in both technical execution and stakeholder alignment

Qualifications:

68 years of experience in technical program management software delivery or engineering leadership
Proven track record of leading complex technical programs in fast-paced or high-growth environments
Deep understanding of software development system architecture and agile methodologies
Exceptional stakeholder engagement conflict resolution and communication skills
Proficiency with Jira Confluence and other project management and collaboration tools
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g. PMP SAFe) a plus
