Informatica IICS Consultant

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Consultant to join our Application Managed Services (AMS) team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions using Informatica IICS.

The candidate will be responsible for managing production support activities, troubleshooting integration issues, enhancing existing ETL processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of cloud-based data integration workflows. This role requires close collaboration with business users, application teams, database administrators, and technical stakeholders to ensure high system availability, data accuracy, and timely incident resolution.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in B Shift and supporting business-critical applications under SLA-driven AMS support environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and support enterprise data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

- Design, develop, and enhance ETL/ELT mappings, mapping tasks, taskflows, and workflows within the Informatica IICS platform.

- Monitor scheduled integration jobs and ensure successful execution of daily, weekly, and monthly data loads.

- Perform production support activities including incident management, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

- Investigate failed jobs, resolve integration issues, and perform data corrections while ensuring minimal business impact.

- Work on change requests, enhancements, bug fixes, and application maintenance activities within the AMS environment.

- Integrate data between cloud applications, databases, enterprise systems, APIs, and flat files.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and reconciliation across multiple systems.

- Perform impact analysis before implementing changes to existing integrations.

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, database administrators, and application support teams to resolve production issues.

- Participate in deployment activities, release management, and post-deployment validation.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and support knowledge articles.

- Adhere to SLA commitments by ensuring timely incident resolution and service request completion.

- Participate in on-call support and shift-based production support activities as required.

- Follow ITIL processes for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Release Management.

- Continuously identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.

- ETL & Data Integration: ETL Development, ETL Support, Data Transformation, Data Mapping, Data Validation, Data Migration, Data Quality, Data Reconciliation, Batch Processing.

- Databases: SQL (Advanced), Oracle Database, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL (Preferred).

- Cloud & Integration: REST APIs, Web Services, Flat Files, XML, JSON, CSV, SFTP, Cloud Applications Integration.

- Production Support (AMS): Application Managed Services (AMS), Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Defect Resolution, SLA Management, Production Monitoring, Release Support.

- Tools: Jira, ServiceNow, Git (Preferred).

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI), Informatica Mass Ingestion, Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica PowerCenter, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, Python, Shell Scripting, Power BI, Tableau, DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, ITIL Certification.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4 to 8+ years of experience in ETL Development and Support.

- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

- Experience working in AMS or Production Support environments.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

- Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting mission-critical integrations.

- Good understanding of ITIL support processes and SLA-driven environments.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to work in B Shift.
