Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Manager / Senior Manager Mergers & Acquisitions to drive the organization's inorganic growth strategy. This leadership role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, executing, and integrating strategic acquisitions that strengthen the company's market position and accelerate business growth.
The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in M&A transactions, corporate finance, valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, and stakeholder management, along with prior experience in the technology or SaaS ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the complete M&A lifecycle, including target identification, financial evaluation, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, transaction execution, and post-merger integration.
- Partner with the leadership team to define and execute the company's inorganic growth strategy.
- Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, investment cases, and Board-ready presentations.
- Evaluate acquisition opportunities by assessing strategic fit, financial viability, market potential, and business synergies.
- Coordinate commercial, financial, legal, tax, operational, and technical due diligence with internal and external stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial terms with founders, investors, advisors, and strategic partners.
- Drive post-acquisition integration planning and synergy realization in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Track industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive landscapes, and potential acquisition opportunities within the SaaS ecosystem.
- Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, or Strategic Finance.
- Experience in a SaaS, Enterprise Software, Cloud, or Technology organization is strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies (DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, Precedent Transactions), deal structuring, and transaction execution.
- Proven track record of independently leading end-to-end M&A transactions.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and executive stakeholder management.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience interacting with founders, CXOs, PE/VC investors, and investment bankers will be an added advantage.
