About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in TOSCA, REST Assured, and API Testing to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications through robust automation practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis TOSCA.

- Develop and execute API automation test cases using REST Assured.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web and API applications.

- Validate RESTful APIs using REST Assured, Postman, and Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.

- Create reusable automation frameworks and enhance existing test suites.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects.

- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

- Log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and QA processes.

Required Skills :

- 5-10 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis TOSCA.

- Experience in API Automation using REST Assured.

- Strong understanding of API Testing concepts and RESTful web services.

- Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.

- Knowledge of automation framework design and maintenance.

- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Familiarity with Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.

- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.

- Exposure to SQL and database validation.

- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

- Basic understanding of performance and security testing.

- ISTQB certification is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification :

- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.

- Equivalent technical qualifications with relevant industry experience will also be considered.
