Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in DBT, Snowflake, SQL, and Python to build and optimize scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in modern data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using DBT and SQL on Snowflake.

- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for efficient data processing and transformation.

- Develop reusable and well-documented DBT models, tests, and documentation.

- Collaborate with data analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.

- Perform data ingestion, query optimization, and performance tuning within Snowflake.

- Use Python for automation, scripting, and data processing tasks.

- Implement data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize pipeline performance.

- Follow data engineering best practices for version control, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7-12 years of experience in Data Engineering.

- Strong hands-on expertise in :

1. DBT (Data Build Tool)

2. Advanced SQL

3. Snowflake

- Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.

- Experience working with modern columnar/MPP data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.

- Proficiency in Python for automation and data processing (preferred).

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar workflow schedulers.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
