QA Engineer

Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality usability and performance.

Develop review and execute detailed test cases test scenarios and test plans based on business requirements.

Conduct Functional Testing Integration Testing System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Perform API testing to validate request/response functionality and data accuracy.

Identify document prioritize and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.

Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.

Work closely with developers product managers and business stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Participate in requirement analysis and provide inputs from a quality assurance perspective.

Maintain test documentation defect reports and testing status reports.

Ensure applications meet quality standards before deployment.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related field.

0-1 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.

Strong experience in developing and executing test cases and test scenarios.

Hands-on experience in Functional Testing Integration Testing System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Working knowledge of API Testing using tools such as Postman or similar.

Experience in testing mobile applications (Android and/or iOS).

Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.

Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related field. 25 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing. Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience in functional regression integration and system testing. Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA Azure DevOps or similar. Familiarity with test management tools and documentation. Basic understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools. Knowledge of SQL and database validation is an advantage. Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium Cypress or Playwright is preferred. Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
