Senior Product Designer - Figma

About the Opportunity:

We are a fast-growing, venture-backed AI startup building a next-generation consumer application focused on personalization and conversational AI. Our mission is to create a habit-forming mobile experience that delivers highly personalized insights to millions of users across India.

We are looking for a passionate Senior Product Designer who can own the complete product design lifecycle and build intuitive, engaging mobile experiences powered by AI.

What You'll Do:

- Own the end-to-end design process for core mobile app experiences, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity UI, prototyping, and developer handoff.

- Design intuitive experiences for AI-driven and highly personalized user journeys.

- Simplify complex AI-generated outputs into clear, user-friendly interfaces.

- Create thoughtful interaction patterns, micro-interactions, and polished user experiences.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Content teams to rapidly ship high-quality features.

- Make design decisions backed by user research, usability principles, and data.

- Design scalable mobile experiences while considering AI capabilities and limitations.

- Maintain consistency through reusable design systems and components.

Required Skills:

- 46 years of Product Design experience.

- Strong portfolio showcasing shipped consumer mobile applications (Android/iOS).

- Expertise in Figma for UI design, prototyping, and design systems.

- Experience owning the complete product design lifecycle.

- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Managers and Engineers.

- Excellent communication and design reasoning skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience designing AI-powered, conversational AI, or personalization-focused products.

- Familiarity with AI tools within the design workflow.

- Experience designing products for Indian consumers, especially Tier 2 and Tier 3 users.

- Understanding of trust-building, onboarding, and engagement patterns in consumer applications.

- Experience designing habit-forming products such as social, fintech, content, wellness, or consumer internet applications.

- Knowledge of motion design or micro-animations is a plus.
