Job Title: Carbon Steel Welders

Position: Carbon Steel Welder (Marine Shipping Container Manufacturing & Repair)

Age Limit: Up to 35 years

Key Responsibilities

• MAG (135) / FCAW (136) welding of carbon steel marine shipping containers
  
• Welding structural frames, corrugated walls, roof profiles & corner castings
  
• Reading technical drawings & WPS
  
• Grinding, beveling, cleaning and finishing welds
  
• Visual quality inspection of welds
  
• Maintaining welding equipment
  
• Following safety and quality standards
  

Requirements

• Valid MAG (135) and/or FCAW (136) Welding Certificate
  
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in carbon steel welding
  
• Experience in heavy industries such as Shipyards, Container Manufacturing, Railway, Steel Structures or Trailer Manufacturing
  
• Ability to read technical drawings
  
• Good physical fitness
  
• Basic English is an added advantage
  

Preferred Skills

• Oxy-fuel or Plasma Cutting
  
• Forklift / Overhead Crane Certification
