Accounts Executive / Sr. Accounts Executive/ Assistant Manager - Accounts

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounts Executive / Sr. Accounts Executive / Assistant Manager Accounts located in the Mohali district. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing vouchers and invoices. The professional will assist in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities. Responsibilities include supporting the preparation of financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, institutional policies, and statutory requirements. The role also requires coordination with internal departments, external auditors, and vendors, timely reporting to management, and participation in process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong financial accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable handling, and bank reconciliation.
• Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of MIS reports, support for budgeting, and assistance with audits and statutory compliances.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools, with the ability to work accurately with spreadsheets and financial databases.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of relevant accounting standards, taxation basics, and institutional finance processes, preferably within the education or service sector.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant academic qualification such as a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter, MBA Finance) will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in accounting or finance roles, with increasing responsibility for senior designations (Sr. Accounts Executive / Assistant Manager Accounts), will be highly beneficial.
