Senior Product Engineer

Lascade is looking for an experienced Senior Product Engineer to build and scale world-class software products used by customers around the globe.

We're building AI-powered tools, mobile applications, travel technology, subscription products, and digital services. We're looking for engineers who think beyond code—people who understand users, solve business problems, and take complete ownership of the products they build.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of high-quality software products from concept to production.

• Design scalable, maintainable, and secure application architectures.

• Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to transform ideas into successful products.

• Build end-to-end features across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.

• Review code, mentor engineers, and promote high engineering standards.

• Improve application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

• Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and product strategy.

• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system quality.

• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements that benefit our products and engineering workflows.

• Take ownership of product quality, engineering excellence, and successful feature delivery.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience building production software products.

• Strong experience developing modern web applications and backend services.

• Excellent understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, and scalable system design.

• Experience building SaaS products, mobile backends, AI-powered products, or high-traffic applications.

• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and modern development practices.

• Experience reviewing code and mentoring other engineers.

• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to performance, scalability, and security.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in startup environments.

• Experience building products from idea to launch.

• Experience integrating AI services or automation into software products.

• Experience designing reusable architectures and shared platforms.

• Open-source contributions or personal software projects.
