Senior AP Accountant

Position: Senior AP Accountant
Location: Cochin
Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
Experience: 5 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
Salary : Upto 10 Lacs
Key Responsibilities
* Strong knowledge of AP processes reconciliation and financial controls
* Experience with ERP systems (QAD experience is a significant advantage) and strong Microsoft Excel.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Manage and oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process ensuring timely accurate and compliant execution of all AP activities.
* Supervise and review daily AP operations performed by junior team members including invoice processing payment preparation and vendor account administration
* Maintain and monitor vendor master data ensuring accuracy completeness and compliance.
* Perform and review monthly AP reconciliations including vendor statements AP subledger and balance sheet accounts.
* Identify opportunities to improve AP processes workflows and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.
* Participate in ERP enhancements and system optimization projects.
