Role Overview :
As the Global Head of Security Platforms, you will lead the strategic vision, engineering lifecycle, and modern transformation of our enterprise cybersecurity platforms. This is a high-impact, global leadership role responsible for defining our security platform roadmap, driving architecture modernization, and leading high-performing, geographically distributed engineering teams.
You will ensure our security infrastructure is resilient, scalable, and capable of defending a highly distributed enterprise against an evolving threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership & Vision :
- Define, execute, and own the long-term global roadmap for all enterprise security platforms, aligning engineering initiatives with overall business and security objectives.
- Lead the modernization, integration, and consolidation of our security stack to eliminate redundancies, optimize costs, and maximize platform capabilities.
- Provide executive-level reporting on platform health, engineering milestones, risk posture, and return on technology investment.
Engineering & Platform Management :
- Direct the architecture, deployment, configuration, and continuous optimization of core enterprise security platforms, including :
1. Endpoint & Cloud Security : CrowdStrike Falcon (EDR/XDR, identity, and cloud security modules).
2. Network Security & Edge : Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) and Akamai Security Solutions (WAF, DDoS mitigation, API security).
3. Identity & Access Management : SailPoint (Identity Governance) and CyberArk (Privileged Access Management).
- Establish rigorous engineering standards, automated deployment pipelines, and continuous testing frameworks for all managed security platforms.
Team Leadership & Talent Development :
- Recruit, mentor, and inspire a world-class, geographically distributed team of security engineers and platform specialists.
- Foster a culture of innovation, high accountability, and continuous learning within the engineering organization.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :
- Partner closely with the CISO, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Application Development teams to ensure security platforms are seamlessly integrated into the broader corporate ecosystem.
- Manage strategic relationships with key technology vendors, driving product influence, roadmap alignment, and favorable commercial agreements.
Qualifications & Experience :
Required Experience :
- Scale : Proven track record of managing enterprise-scale security platforms within global banks, major financial institutions, or Fortune 500 enterprises.
- Leadership : 10+ years of progressive leadership experience managing complex security engineering teams in high-availability, regulated environments.
- Technical Depth : Deep, hands-on architectural and engineering familiarity with the following core technologies :
1. CrowdStrike Falcon
2. Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)
3. Akamai Security Solutions
4. SailPoint
5. CyberArk
- Transformation : Demonstrated experience leading large-scale security migration or modernization initiatives (e.g., transitioning to Zero Trust architectures or cloud-native security models).
Skills & Competencies :
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical engineering challenges into business-enabling strategies for C-suite stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar capital (CAPEX) and operational (OPEX) technology budgets.
- Deep understanding of global regulatory standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, DORA, PCI-DSS) relevant to financial services or massive scale enterprises.
