Video Editor (Long-Form)

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Long-Form Video Editor to produce high-quality, engaging video content across educational, documentary, and brand storytelling formats. In this role, you will own the complete post-production process, transforming raw footage into compelling long-form videos that captivate audiences while maintaining a polished and consistent visual style.

Working closely with content strategists, scriptwriters, designers, and creative teams, you will craft narrative-driven content that combines impactful storytelling, professional editing, motion graphics, and exceptional audio-visual quality. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating meaningful long-form content, understands audience retention strategies, and enjoys bringing stories to life through creative editing.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete post-production workflow for long-form videos, including educational content, webinars, documentaries, interviews, and brand storytelling projects.
• Transform raw footage into engaging, well-structured narratives with strong pacing and seamless transitions.
• Apply audience retention techniques through strategic editing, visual storytelling, B-roll integration, and engaging visual elements.
• Create and integrate motion graphics, lower-thirds, text animations, and visual effects to simplify complex concepts and enhance viewer engagement.
• Perform professional audio editing, including noise reduction, audio balancing, sound design, music integration, and final audio mastering.
• Apply high-quality color correction and color grading to ensure visual consistency and a premium viewing experience.
• Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form videos optimized for digital and social media platforms.
• Collaborate with creative, content, and marketing teams to understand project objectives and deliver high-impact visual content.
• Organize project assets, maintain efficient editing workflows, and manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
• Continuously explore emerging editing techniques, storytelling trends, and post-production best practices to elevate content quality.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 1–3 years of experience editing long-form video content such as YouTube videos, documentaries, educational content, interviews, or branded media.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for professional video editing.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, animations, and visual enhancements.
• Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to build engaging narratives that maintain audience interest throughout long-form content.
• Strong understanding of pacing, visual composition, sound design, color grading, and audience retention strategies.
• Experience creating motion graphics, animated text, and other visual elements that enhance educational and informational content.
• Highly organized with strong project management skills, efficient file handling, and the ability to manage multiple editing projects simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with writers, designers, marketers, and creative stakeholders while incorporating feedback into final deliverables.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in long-form editing, storytelling, sound design, and visual creativity.
• Passion for continuous learning, creative experimentation, and delivering visually compelling content that engages and inspires audiences.
