About DreamFirm

DreamFirm is a tech-enabled professional services firm providing accounting, compliance, and CFO services to growing businesses. We are looking for an Accounts Associate to manage the accounting operations of one of our enterprise clients in the Import & Export industry.

This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience in import-export accounting and is comfortable independently managing day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting for an assigned client.
  
• Record and reconcile domestic and international purchase and sales transactions.
  
• Maintain accurate books of accounts using ZOHO Books.
  
• Handle vendor payments, customer receipts, and bank reconciliations.
  
• Process import and export transactions, including purchase accounting and related documentation.
  
• Account for freight, customs duty, clearing & forwarding charges, and other import-related expenses.
  
• Reconcile import shipments with supplier invoices and payment records.
  
• Prepare GST workings, TDS deductions, and support statutory compliance.
  
• Coordinate with logistics teams, vendors, banks, and internal stakeholders for smooth financial operations.
  
• Assist during month-end closing, audits, and financial reporting.
  
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting while maintaining complete documentation.
  

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of full-time Accounts experience (Internship or Trainee experience will not be considered).
  
• Prior experience in Import & Export accounting is mandatory.
  
• Experience handling import documentation, purchase accounting, freight, customs duty, and related accounting entries.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
  
• Hands-on experience with Tally, Zoho Books, or similar ERP/accounting software.
  
• Strong Excel skills.
  
• Candidates pursuing professional qualifications (CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, etc.) requiring frequent examination leave or extended leave during the year are not suitable for this role.

₹2.4 LPA – ₹3.6 LPA (Based on experience)

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Timings: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
