About the job:
As a Project Manager on the team, you plan, coordinate, and track diligence projects from initiation to close. You keep each workstream on schedule, coordinate the people involved on both the technical side and the seller side, and give stakeholders a clear, current view of progress and risk. You work independently, manage several deals at once, and keep things moving without losing the detail.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in project management.
- Experience managing multiple projects at the same time, from initiation to completion.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
- Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in technology due diligence, M&A, or a software product and engineering environment.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum ways of working.
- Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe (good to have, not mandatory).
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello, and comfortable working with data and dashboards.
- Proficiency in using generative AI tools, with sound judgement on where they help and where human review is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including experience preparing reports for senior Plan, execute, and track projects from initiation to completion, keeping deadlines and deliverables on schedule.
- Coordinate across technical teams and external contacts to keep each project moving, and resolve blockers as they come up.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, and documentation for stakeholders.
- Schedule and run regular project meetings, capture notes, and follow up on action items.
- Identify project risks and issues early, and escalate or resolve them as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate project records and make sure work stays aligned with business goals.
- Handle confidential deal and company information with discretion.
