Position: Project Coordinator

Location: Bangalore

Project Type: Hospitality Project

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support Project Manager and Project Management team in planning, coordinating, and monitoring day-to-day site activities.
• Assist in reviewing construction methodologies proposed by contractors, particularly for technically sensitive works such as equipment foundations and embedded services.
• Coordinate with design consultants, architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors during construction planning and execution.
• Responsible for monitoring Civil and MEP works and ensure smooth coordination among all stakeholders.
• Coordinate daily site activities involving Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and other specialized contractors.
• Track project progress, identify delays, constraints, and risks, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports by consolidating Civil and MEP execution status.
• Ensure contractors execute work as per the latest approved drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Coordinate interface activities between Civil and MEP teams to avoid clashes and execution delays.
• Assist in reviewing and validating construction methodologies, installation procedures, and work sequencing.
• Maintain project documentation including drawing registers, RFIs, approvals, inspection records, testing certificates, and method statements.
• Monitor contractor compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards and report unsafe practices for immediate corrective action.
• Participate in coordination meetings, prepare MOMs and ensure timely closure of action items.
• Coordinate inspections, snagging activities, testing & commissioning, and support project close-out and handover documentation.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Project for planning and tracking project schedules.
• Responsible for Project reporting, maintaining trackers, and progress monitoring.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in construction project coordination and site execution.
• Experience in Hospitality, Residential, Commercial, or Mixed-use projects is preferred.
• Exposure to multidisciplinary coordination involving Civil and MEP works.
• Experience working with Project Management Consultants (PMC) will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of MS Project, Microsoft Excel, and basic AutoCAD.
