Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and organize the school library's physical and digital collections, ensuring alignment with CBSE syllabus and age-appropriate learning needs.
• Develop and implement library programs including reading clubs, author interactions, book fairs, and literacy campaigns to foster a culture of reading.
• Train students and teachers on digital library tools, OPAC systems, and research best practices to enhance learning outcomes.
• Coordinate with academic departments to curate resource lists, integrate library materials into lesson plans, and support project-based learning.
• Maintain accurate records of book issuance, returns, inventories, and digital access logs using library management software.
• Design and manage the library's physical space to be student-friendly, inclusive, and conducive to quiet study, group learning, and storytelling sessions.
