Senior Python Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, SQL, cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build secure, reliable, and efficient software solutions while contributing to system architecture, performance optimization, and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Python.

- Build and optimize data-driven applications with complex SQL queries on large-scale datasets.

- Design and implement secure, reliable, and scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.

- Work in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software within project timelines.

- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 8+ years of professional experience in Python software development.

- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with experience optimizing complex database queries.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment.

- Experience designing and developing microservices-based applications.

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and application security best practices.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of software design patterns, distributed systems, and system reliability principles.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
