Role Overview:
We are seeking a visionary Principal Engineer to lead the architecture and development of our next-generation Voice-Agent Platform.
In this role, you will spearhead the design of high-performance, real-time conversational AI systems that bridge the gap between complex LLM reasoning and sub-millisecond voice interaction.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of researchers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to translate cutting-edge machine learning breakthroughs into scalable production infrastructure.
By optimizing the entire voice-to-voice pipeline, you will directly influence the quality of customer interactions, setting new industry benchmarks for latency, fluency, and natural intelligence in automated communication.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and scale distributed systems that handle high-concurrency voice streams to ensure seamless, real-time user experiences across global markets.
- Drive the integration of Large Language Models and RAG frameworks into our voice pipeline to improve the contextual accuracy and responsiveness of our agents.
- Optimize deep learning inference pipelines using CUDA and PyTorch to minimize end-to-end latency, ensuring our voice agents feel instantaneous to the end user.
- Mentor senior engineering talent and foster a culture of technical excellence, ensuring our codebase remains robust, maintainable, and ahead of the technological curve.
- Collaborate with product leadership to define the technical roadmap, balancing rapid feature iteration with the long-term stability of our core voice infrastructure.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling distributed systems, with a proven ability to solve complex concurrency and synchronization challenges in production environments.
- Deep technical proficiency in Machine Learning and Voice Technology, specifically in deploying LLMs and RAG-based architectures for real-time applications.
- Advanced capability in performance tuning and latency optimization, utilizing CUDA and PyTorch to extract maximum efficiency from GPU-accelerated workloads.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and influence senior leadership.
- A track record of technical leadership, having guided high-performing teams through the full software development lifecycle in fast-paced, product-focused environments.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work model based out of our Bangalore or Noida offices, maintaining high levels of collaboration and productivity across distributed teams.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field, typically supported by 8 - 20 years of progressive experience in software and systems engineering.
