Assistant Manager Engineering

1. To handle the engineering manpower for smooth working of process equipment as per production requirements.

2. To allocate different job responsibilities to different persons in consulting with HOD.

3. To follow up from subordinates about their daily activity.

4. To review and maintain the stock of critical spare and commonly used spares in advance so as to minimize the breakdown time.

5. To co-ordinate and interact with other departments regarding any issues related to engineering dept.

6. To suggest and implement energy saving ideas.

7. To review the documents of engineering dept. e.g. logbooks/formats preventive/ predictive/breakdown maintenance qualification and re-qualification documentation etc.

8. Initiate and facilitate improvements projects with in the engineering departments.

9. Modification of existing equipment/systems and installation of new equipment/ systems and their qualification

10. Optimization machine outputs.

11. Responsible for ensuring safety to employees property and equipment as per safety policy of USV Pvt. Ltd.

12. Maintain cost effective maintenance and instruments controls groups focusing on continues improvements total predictive maintenance and a cost effective spare parts program.

13. Responsible for accurate parts inventory and equipment specific usage control.

14. Maintain 100 % on time completion of PMS. Support new or modified equipment /facilities installation to include identifying & purchasing initial spare parts and implementing new preventive maintenance procedure.

15. Developments of local vendor and substitution of imported spares.

16. To handle breakdowns preventive maintenance of the process equipments and maintains the related documentations such as checklist history cards calibration status etc.

17. To conduct SOP training for subordinates according to their job responsibility.

18. Coordinating with production/QA department for Maintenance/ Breakdown of process area machines.

19. To ensure the availability of critical spare AMC and timely vendor visit to minimize the down time of processequipments.

20. To ensure the SOPs shall be followed during maintenance of equipments.

21. Handling & revision of Process maintenance related SOPs.

22. To issuance and retrieval of logbooks for preventive maintenance of equipment of related area and maintain building facility as per GMP requirements.

23. CAPA identification / implementation & effectiveness.

24. Global CAPA compliance.

25. Day to day area visit.

26. To ensure the timely completion of compliance as per predefined timelines of self-audit/QCMT audit / external audit (Customer/Regulatory).

27. Ensure all time readiness of the site for Regulatory inspections Customer audits and Corporate Quality audits.

28. Adhere to Data integrity policy and attending data integrity periodic review meetings.

29. Handling & Escalation any observations to higher management as per SOP matrix.

30. To handle the SAP system for procurement of spares breakdowns and preventive maintenance.

31. To handle track wise system for handling change controls deviations & CAPA.

32. To handle the ELMS system for self-training and to impart training to other employees.

33. To handle the qualifications of equipments through VLMS.

34. To ensure data integrity GMP and GDP compliance.

35. To ensure monitoring of plant performance indicators.

36. To ensure statutory legal and safety compliances.

37. To ensure training and development of the people.
